Overview

Those of us who are neurodivergent often struggle with executive functioning in our own unique ways. In the autistic community, the saying goes "if you know one person with autism, you know one person with autism." I've seen this hold true for executive functioning as well: Each neurodivergent person has their own distinct executive functioning profile, often with more polarities between strengths and weaknesses than neurotypical people.

However, there are some groupings between the type of neurodivergence and executive functioning profile that may be helpful. Read on to learn more.
